The Journey

To encounter the Moon, the Rose, and the Flame.

And to discover what awakens within us when we do.

The Moon — Coyolxauhqui

At Templo Mayor, we encounter Coyolxauhqui, the Moon Goddess whose story speaks to fragmentation, dismemberment, and the recognition that “dismemberment” is part of the Holy birthing process.

Through her, we explore the places within ourselves that have been scattered by loss, expectation, trauma, or circumstance—and the power that emerges when we recognized that the lost parts are not the end of the story, rather on the way to our greatest and most everlasting re-birth.

She is the Moon that reminds us that the process of dismemberment and remembering are mapped in the phases of the Moon and the gestational phases of pregnancy and birth. Your most powerful self lives at the intersection of the Fragmentation and Re-Membering.

The Rose — Our Lady of Guadalupe/Tonantzin

At Tepeyac Hill, we step into the mystery of Guadalupe and Tonantzin—the sacred feminine who remained alive through centuries of transformation.

Neither fully hidden nor fully revealed, she became a bridge between worlds: earth and spirit, Indigenous and colonial, memory and reinvention.

She is the Rose that blooms, protects and breaths eternally even through persecution, genocide, distortion and contradiction.

A symbol of endurance, beauty, devotion, and the creative power that remains alive even when history attempts to bury it. She shows us our infinite creative power to rise from victimhood and penetrate the world with our fierce love.

The Flame — Frida Kahlo

At Casa Azul, we step into the world of Frida Kahlo, whose life became a living expression of creativity, resilience, passion, and self-reinvention.

Through Frida, we explore the symbolic nature of our own lives as we witness in her her alchemical journey of transforming suffering and tragic wounding into ____art, trauma into _____expression, and lived experience into our own revolutionary becoming.

She is the Flame of Eros that refuses to be extinguished and the creative force that transforms agony and torment into beauty and immortality. She reminds us that we can transcend anything.

Mystery and Miracle

Through these three feminine forces—the Moon, the Rose, and the Flame—we are invited to encounter the places within ourselves that seek remembrance, expression, integration, and rebirth.
